I love simple recipes that taste great, are healthful but don’t have a lot of ingredients. Roasted vegetables of any kind are delicious with any meal. And Broccoli is rich in vitamins and minerals such as:
- Calcium
- Iron
- Niacin
- Phosphorous
- Potassium
- Riboflavin
- Thiamin and
- Zinc
Here’s how I make roasted broccoli:
Ingredients:
- 4-5 Handfuls of Broccoli
- 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil
- 5 Shakes of Unrefined Salt such as Himalayan or Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Place the broccoli in a large bowl
- Drizzle olive oil over the broccoli
- Shake salt into the bowl
Mix the broccoli, oil & salt in the bowl. Place it on a cookie sheet and place in a preheated oven 400 degrees for 25 minutes. You don’t have to flip or stir the broccoli partway into the cooking process, but you can if you want.
Add as a side dish to any meal & enjoy!
