Dr. Kyla Buten is a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Vancouver with a special interest in women’s health and pediatrics. She also focuses her practice on anti-aging, weight loss & detoxification, hormonal health, digestive disorders, mental & emotional health and a wide-variety of other conditions.
Dr. Buten was born and raised in the fast-paced environment of Toronto and obtained her Bachelor degree in Biology and Psychology (Hons.) from Queen’s University. She then went on to graduate from the Boucher Institute with her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver, BC. The concept of balance has always been her ambition, and Dr. Buten has consistently made it a priority to pursue her passions, both in and out of the workplace. She is an avid athlete, runner and participant in many charity programs, both local and across the globe.
Dr. Buten is passionate about helping patients reach their ideal state of health by recognizing the underlying patterns that may be causing disease, and using natural treatments to enhance the body’s ability to heal. Furthermore, she believes that by starting our little ones off with a strong foundation of physical, mental and emotional well-being, they are given the opportunity to learn and grow to their optimal potential; as vibrant and happy children.
Dr. Buten advocates that the healing process should be an enjoyable one, and provides a light-hearted, calming and supportive energy to any environment. With a warm and compassionate disposition and a penchant for evidence-based medicine, she is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and skills in order to contribute positively to the lives and health care of others.
Dr. Buten is happy to offer a 15 minute meet and greet to prospective patients. It is important that you feel comfortable with your practitioner and this provides the opportunity to get to know Dr. Buten, her philosophies and modalities of treatment.
