Teodora Markovic comes to BodaHealth from Serbia. She was raised in a small village called Bare and moved to Belgrade to study Biochemical Engineering. When Tea moved to Vancouver in 2019, she shifted her educational focus to the study of Cognitive Science and Psychology at Simon Fraser University. Her goal is to finish her undergrad degree and then begin studying for her master’s.
The first time Teodora came to BodaHealth, she was struck by the calm and peaceful environment. She is happy to tell you how much she loves working with every member of the BodaHealth team and that she looks forward to each day at BodaHealth because of the friendly and calm work atmosphere.
Tea’s long-term goal is to grow as much as possible on an individual and emotional level. On being healthy, she says, “our body is in line with nature, and with the right people to guide you through the natural healing process, our bodies can achieve miracles.”
Outside of work, Tea is creative; she does oil paintings year round, and during the winter months she knits. She also has some interesting pets. Tea has a dog called Blacky who currently lives with her grandmother in Serbia. At home in Vancouver, she has spiders! Teodora is the owner of five tarantulas and one jumping spider. If you see her in the clinic, ask Tea about her unusual pets!
