Ewa completed the Natural Nutrition program from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2017 and holds the designation of Registered Holistic Nutritionist. She also earned her Holistic Culinary Certificate from CSNN in the same year.
Ewa’s passion for health and nutrition sprang from a stressful career as a business executive in Toronto. Juggling commitments that left her eating poorly, missing sleep, and overstressed, Ewa’s lifestyle left her with serious health issues before the age of 30. Ewa’s compromised health was a wake-up call that forced her to reexamine her life and priorities. Her path to healing led her to working with a nutritionist, whose direction and commitment sparked a fascination that eventually led Ewa to change careers. As a result, she enrolled in the Natural Nutrition program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
Ewa’s journey has inspired a passion for helping other women regain balance and ownership of their health. Ewa works with clients who have a variety of health conditions, but her areas of special interest are in:
- Digestive health
- Hormonal health
- Mental health
- Women’s reproductive health
- Weight concerns
- Food allergies and sensitivities
- Autoimmune conditions
- Adrenal and thyroid imbalances
- Inflammatory conditions
- Nutritional deficiencies
Ewa’s goal is to help clients thrive by bridging the gap between what’s considered “ideal” and what’s realistic for each person. She takes a personal and supportive approach with clients, working with them every step of the way to achieve optimal health naturally. Ewa’s philosophy to nutrition can be summed up as:
I believe optimal nutrition is not just about what we eat. It’s about providing nourishment to every aspect of our being; body, mind and spirit. Disease prevention intersects at the crossroads of a healthy diet, balanced lifestyle, and focused mindset. And my holistic approach to wellness provides support to the whole person, using the very best tools and resources that modern science and traditional wisdom have to offer.
Ewa views her responsibility as a nutritionist to provide accessible education about natural nutrition and healthy living. As a result, she offers regular free workshops and consultations for workspaces, community centers, libraries, and non-profit organizations in the Vancouver area. Ewa is also training the next generation of holistic nutritionists. She is an adjunct instructor at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, currently teaching two courses and working on a third that will be offered in the summer of 2020.
When she’s not working, look for Ewa outdoors. She’s committed to anything active that takes her out into nature. You may find her running the seawall, hiking the North Shore Mountains, or simply taking in the natural beauty in her neighborhood. When the weather doesn’t cooperate, Ewa can be found at home in the kitchen working on a new recipe, or snuggled up on the couch with her husband Mike, and Lestat, the cat.
