Daria Kim joined the BodaHealth reception team in 2022 as part of her journey to discover what career path she would like to pursue. She is currently working on completing her undergraduate degree in health sciences at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where she transferred after completing her diploma in the same program from Orange Coast College in California.
While she has not worked in a healthcare setting before BodaHealth, Daria’s interest in health science and learning more about different professions within the healthcare world have enabled her to thrive in the fast-paced clinic environment! On working in healthcare, Daria believes that “we have to take care, serve and help other people who need our support because the wellness of others influences our own well being, and impacts how we treat ourselves in order to love others.”
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Daria spending time with her family! She has 4 younger brothers, and they love to do puzzles together and enjoy the outdoors; moving to Vancouver from Russia, Daria and her family love spending time outdoors on the West Coast, where you can be in the mountains and feel the sea breeze at the same time! She also volunteers weekly at her church making sandwiches for homeless people. In her downtime, Daria has a passion for running/hiking (she attends a running club every week!), reading, watching cartoons, and decorating!
