Cara has always had a passion for helping people; this passion, coupled with her interests in anatomy and physiology, led to her discovery of massage therapy. Cara’s natural talent for identifying the source of symptoms through massage helps her to aid patients by providing relief and helping them achieve their goals, both physically and emotionally.
Cara’s approach to treatment is grounded in treating the body as a whole and recognizing that every patient presents uniquely. For Cara, massage serves the maintenance of our bodies, can be a method for rehabilitation, and equally as important, aids in the management of stress and anxiety. Cara’s treatment plans are individually catered to each patient’s personal needs and goals.
In addition to practicing massage therapy, Cara has been enrolled in the Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner program at the Canadian School of Osteopathy, Manual Practice since September 2017; being able to further her education alongside her massage practice allows her to implement some of the osteopathic techniques and principles she has learned into her massage practice.
Cara is a 2015 graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy program and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC. She is happy to welcome new clients to her practice at BodaHealth!
