Arica Zhong is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P) in Vancouver, B.C. Her practice includes Acupuncture and various adjunct therapies, such as prescribing herbal formulas and advising on lifestyle and food cures. Arica’s TCM studies have taken her to many corners of the globe, having followed many world-class doctors of both Western and Traditional Chinese medical doctrines. She was introduced to a number of notable masters from the Buddhist and Daoist traditions throughout her adolescent years, and she developed an interest in meditation, holistic healing, and classical studies, including Chinese herbal remedies.
Arica loves to synthesize traditions with modern technologies and clinically-proven practices. There are unlimited selections of treatment methods in TCM, but she is trained to intuitively match her patients with the most suitable, efficient and safe protocols. Arica is also trained in auricular (ear) and scalp Acupuncture, facial rejuvenation, fascia-muscular rehabilitation, and sound & vibration therapies.
Arica holds a B.A. from the University of British Columbia, and is currently finishing her Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM), at the renowned Five Branches University.
