For one serving:
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
One handful of fresh spinach (or greens powder)
½ scoop of probiotic powder (optional)
1 Tbs flax seeds (unground)
1 Tbs cooked beans
1 Tbs Cooked brown rice
1 – 2 cups of liquid (almond milk, rice milk, water, hemp milk)
For a variation use the basic smoothie and add:
Berry Smoothie:
½ cup berries: raspberries, strawberries, blackberries or blueberries
Nutty Smoothie:
¼ cup Nuts or seeds: Walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, hemp seeds, chia seeds
Chocolate Smoothie:
Add a tsp of pure cocao powder
Creamy smoothie:
Yogurt in place of ½ the liquid
Super Green Smoothie
add another ½ cup of fresh greens (spinach, kale, chard, beet greens)
Blend well before serving
