Mel Engleder
RMT
Farwell Mel!
As you may have already heard, it is time to wish Mel safe travels as she goes on an exciting journey to Europe and Asia. While exploring unknown territory, Mel will be expanding on her massage talents as she learns traditional Asian systems of massage in the northern region of Thailand. Check out her blog posts at: westcoastnomads.com
Mel was a wonderful addition to the BodaHealth team and she will be missed dearly by all of the staff and her patients.
Practicing as an RMT since 1999, Melanie Engleder has treated patients throughout the Lower Mainland and abroad. In 2006, she pursued her goal of teaching at her former college, West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has been involved in the development and teaching of several classes including Musculoskeletal Anatomy and General Orthopedics. Mel has been attending births as a Doula for long enough that some of the “babies” are now in elementary school. Outside of the clinic, Mel regularly practices yoga, rides her bike every chance she gets, and is a member of the MTA.
Mel has extensive experience in treating many conditions and has a special interest in:
- Myofascial Release Therapy
- Orthopedic conditions, muscle strains, ligament sprains, malalignment and postural issues
- Pregnancy and Post-Partum Massage
- Women’s Health
