Dawn graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2005, after completing the 3,000-hour program of academic and clinical study that was required to become a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia. She has worked on the west side of Vancouver since starting her practice, in 2006.
Originally from the U.S., Dawn has lived in beautiful Vancouver since 2001. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota, and was a film and advertising producer for several years, until she decided that it was time to make a career change. She is also the proud mother of two amazing young daughters.
Caring, compassionate, and intuitive, Dawn uses a holistic approach, and tailors each treatment to the individual patient’s needs. Her goal is to help facilitate the restoration of balance, alignment, and optimal function.
The focus of her practice is on women’s reproductive health (including fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, and menopause). Dawn has been treating fertility patients since joining BodaHealth in 2013. In early 2015 she went to the UK to take the Fertility Massage Therapy course from world-renowned fertility expert Clare Blake. Dawn then went on to become the first practitioner in North America to be certified using this method.
She also has an interest in treating patients with chronic headaches, neck and jaw pain, insomnia, stress, and anxiety.
Her techniques include swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, and craniosacral therapy.
