Understanding Overactive Adrenal Glands
The adrenal glands are located in the kidneys and produce essential hormones such as adrenaline, corticosteroids (cortisone-like hormones) and androgens (make hormones like testosterone). Any overproduction or underproduction of these hormones can lead to serious illness.
